Welcome to the Joomla forum!

A number of users who have tried to register have been reporting that they receive a message telling them that their session has expired.
Does that mean that those users cannot register at all? But other users, other than you, can still do that, can they?

Does the website use some third party caching or security software that could cause this issue?

Are there any errors displayed or written into the PHP error log?

Does the website use the latest version of the paid third party extension JomSocial? According to JED, the latest version is 4.9.2, released six months ago, but it is possible later versions have been released.

I have tried to run the forum post tool but I get the error: "You do not have permission to view this resource. Please contact the Site Administrator."
Did you follow the FPA instructions, uploaded the file fpa-en.php into the main Joomla folder and then browsed to it?
